From Athlone
Take the N61 for Roscommon. At Lecarrow, turn right behind Coffeys bar (a bright red building) and continue straight on for about 2 miles. You will see the Lough on your right as you start to come down a hill. At the bottom there is a sharp right hand bend. Turn half left and you will see a green gate with a tourist board sign for Rindoon Castle and St John’s Wood. Go through the gate and the house is on your left.
From Roscommon
Take the N61 for Athlone In Lecarrow turn left by Coffey’s Bar, then follow directions above.
